Press release by Singlepoint
Signifying the expansion of its mobile interactive services into advertising, SinglePoint is introducing SingleBrand, the first mobile ad-insertion platform dedicated to retrieving and serving ads in conjunction with the scheduled inventory of popular interactive TV shows seen on Bravo, NBC Universal, MTV, FOX, The CW and others. Advertisers now have a centralized solution to reaching millions of engaged mobile phone users that interact on a daily basis with TV programs, as well as receive reporting metrics on campaign success.
SingleBrand provides advertisers with the ability to insert advertising into existing mobile interactive TV campaigns delivered by SinglePoint. For example, when a TV viewer responds to a call to action to cast a vote for their favorite performer via their mobile phone, they may receive a confirmation reply thanking them for voting that also includes an ad message. As a result, SinglePoint's media and entertainment partners can generate ad revenue by providing advertisers access to their viewers.
How SingleBrand Works
SingleBrand ad-insertion platform provides easy integration options for ad-networks, giving ad agencies access to an engaged audience of mobile savvy users. Once the connection is made, SingleBrand dynamically requests ads from the ad-network for insertion into scheduled interactive TV campaigns.
SingleBrand ad-insertion platform offers advertisers SMS ad-insertion enabling direct response campaigns such as click-to-call, click-to-link, and click-to-SMS. It can also be easily customized and integrated with third-party campaign creation and advertiser management solutions, to support applications such as ticketing / coupons, video streaming and content download. Additional benefits include enhanced customer targeting, time and location-sensitive campaigns.
"There has been high demand from our media and entertainment partners and the advertising community for ad-supported mobile SMS and MMS campaigns. The introduction of SingleBrand is our response to this growing demand," said Rich Begert, President and CEO of SinglePoint. "SinglePoint has processed close to 100 million interactive transactions over the past twelve months alone, so adding an advertising component to these transactions is the natural next step in expanding our suite of mobile campaign solutions."
"Mobile advertising revenues are expected to exceed two billion dollars in the United States by 2012," said Vikrant Gandhi, senior analyst at Frost & Sullivan. "2008 is an exciting turning point for the industry where mobile advertising is actually becoming a line item for leading advertising agencies and brands. A greater participation of advertisers in the mobile advertising opportunity is expected to be the prime growth driver."
